 at 11:38 AMDue to hours of games in the midnight, i am still feeling so sleepy and tired.. =x ytd was very tired from CO but still didn't go to bed. Instead, i, Teeyuexin went to play some online games with Pohchengjean, fighting to see who will win da lame game(: hahas. first stop: we played audition (which, obviously i was no match for him=p) next: through msn chat and play some jewel thingy(he wins again-.-) then: played what Tic-Tac-Toe(i finally win ler(: 6 to5) later: scissors-paper-stone. (its a draw.) and Uno games also have-.- lastly gave up on msn games and went to play Viwawa.Zzz hahas its lame BUT i win;D tehees! Final Finally, we both went to sleep at 5.30am. okay. enough of the games(: recently I've been reading a book. it's short story about philosophies. the book is very meaningful and not boring at all. so i wanna blog out one or a story inside. it is in Chinese so I've to translate it, so forgive me if there are any language problems. . . . . ready? . . . . there it goes.... No.7 Do not let others decide your life for you. There is a man who was very successful. He reminisced his past and said, "during my primary six exam, i topped the class and the teacher gave me a world map as a present. i was elated and ran home to examine the map. But unfortunately, that day was my turn to help the family to heat the bathing water(last time no heater luh.) Then while heating the water, i examined the map beside the fire. On the map, i saw Egypt. I thought about how nice the Egypt is... with the Pyramid, Nile river, Pharaoh and many many mysterious things, and wanted to go there when i grow up. "When i was deeply in my thoughts, a big man suddenly came out of the bath room, with a towel wrapped around and shouted loudly, "What are you doing?" i looked up and saw my father, and said "I am looking at a map." my father was very angry," No more fire, look at what map?!" "i am looking at the map of Egypt." i replied. My father came over and gave mi two tight slaps and said " hurry up with the fire! There's nothing to look." Then he kick my butt, and kick me to the fire place. He then used a very serious tone to say," I swear that in your whole life you would not be able to travel to such a far place! Hurry up with the fire!" "At that moment, i looked at my father, stunned, and thought: why did my father swear on such a weird thing?is it true? i am not able to go to Egypt in my whole life? 20years later, during the first overseas trip, i went to Egypt. My friends asked," Why do you want to go to Egypt?" At that time, Egypt was still not opened to tourists, it was very hard to travel there. I said, "Because, i do not want others to decide my life for me." And i travelled to Egypt alone. "One day, i sat on the stairs in front the pyramid and wrote a postcard to my father. I wrote: Dear father, i am now writing this postcard in front of a pyramid to you, remember when i was young, you gave me two tight slaps, one kick and swear-ed that i will never be able to travel to such a far place, now, i am sitting right here, writing to you." while writing the postcard, i was filled with emotions. When my father received the card, he said to my mother,"ooh! That was a very a long time ago, so effective?one kick and he've gone to Egypt." TADA! THE END! xoxo, you know you love me♥ |
